I've always heard that weapon skill stacking does wonders. Choppa is meant for balls to the wall dps. With that said, the most effect choppas I've seen focus on raw dps and let the group support them. Melee train chosen black orc combo both guarding a choppa is awesome. Put a SH or a Sorc in the back line with a shaman and a zealot and it will be a hard group to beat. As others have said, a choppa needs good group support to truly shine.
