I´ve been searching for an answer, but it doesn´t seem to be anywhere too obvious.

In my other thread I asked about setting the game in German. Elven led me to a 9,3Gb client download that pops all sorts of errors as I try to install it, be it WAR, WARpatch or Testpatch. I´m using W10 to the very last update.

Now, the game itself is supposed to be downloaded from the main source, that other site called ´´join´´. That´s what I´m doing now, hoping it will work this time.

The question however is, do I still need the original Warhammer Online disk? Because in that case it´s bye bye for me, it´s been real long since I last saw it around my house.

The client has to be 1.4.8. You won't get it to work without the Return of Reckoning launcher, which is the answer to the errors you mentioned.

Put the RoR launcher inside the game folder and run it.
