Name says it mostly, id just like to help because realistically running/operating/coding/mantaning takes time and money. While i cant give time i can donate money!

Can't have any types of donations, EA/GW would sue.

It depends. They might have issues with the server taking donations. emu projects regularly take donations though.

Makes me wonder. Has the dev team ever been approached by GW/EA lawyers or spokesmen?

As long as the dev team don't earn money with this project they won't get sued or anything. And they said it more than once that RoR is a non profit project. They don't accept donations
