About threads getting locked for abusive reasons

It seems to me that lately, many threads are getting locked on forum for abusive reasons, and often in a very unfriendly way.

Most of the time when the topic or content is questionning the dev's implementation choices...

I know the goal of the project somewhat shifted over time, and that the priority is not given to reviving the game as it was.
I understand that the devs have bigger plans, about "fixing" the game we all loved.

I know it is hard to see people asking naive questions about your "fixing" choices, hard to see that some people disagree or just dont understand your intents. But really... are you so unsure about your choices that you cannot read any comment/threads
discussing them without freaking out and pushing the lock button ?
