Stop fighting close to warcamps or the defenders get huge bonuses to their dmg.

I got hit with a WoP when I was in range of the Destro WC damage buff. The Sorc and I had a good laugh about it. Were you by WC?

I once came back from making a cup of tea to find I had 2 shot a witch elf with my damage aura. Hahaha he/she cried like a baby. The war camp buff kills, stay safe destro.

Still seeking word from a mod regarding this issue. That Word very clearly ignored the RoR dmg cap. This Jevanko guy here claimed the guy's for sure a hacker??

There's also the separate issue of an instant-cast, 100ft range 4.5k dmg ability existing in this game to begin with. That's not in anyway healthy for balance.

ward of pain/boiling blood have the same base damage and scaling than Doombolt/Fireball, this mean that if you get hit by a 4,5k WoP the same player (with different spec) can it you with a 4,5k doombolt, the difference between the 2 skill is that:

a) Doombolt have 3 sec cast time VS WoP being instant
b) Doombolt can't be stopped once fired VS WoP giving 5 warning to refill you hp/getting an absorb shield/getting yourself cleansed/running behinf an HTL to increase your dirupt (not sure about the last, hear people talking about WoP being only diruptable on application but never checked if it was only talk or was actualy implemented)
c) WoP/BB require a tattic to deal that damage, it's basic damage and scaling is half that of Doombolt/fireball as well as having double the warning time
d) WoP/BB have 10 sec CD VS Doombolt/Fireball having no CD...

you've got x 3 wounds (srsly - stop roaming with wounds debuffs)
you probably have low resistances and toughness
he may have had wc buff

you're moaning about the squishiest rdps doing huge burst. lol.

This is the very epitome of a **** post, which is frowned upon.

Not to insult your intelligence, but I'll point out to you that wounds debuffs apply AFTER the deaths. Hopefully that concept isn't too hard to grasp. I had 1x, and 2x wounds debuff respectively when this player TWICE dropped me like a sack of bricks in roughly the time it takes to blink ones eyes. That's not moaning on my part, yet was so jarringly odd of a circumstance that I had to go back to check my logs to see wtf just happened. Oh, gee! The guy broke the dmg cap. With an ability that can be cast on the move from a mile away no less. You see no problem here? No moaning here, pal. Just stating facts.

Also, your speculative posts contribute jackshitallnothing. I had 8k wounds the first time he derped me, and 7k wounds the last time (with 1x wounds debuff and 2x wounds debuff respectively), at which point I'd had enough of that un-interactive exchange that required almost no effort or time on his part to execute.

Full Guardian, Full defensive. 550+ toughness, All wounds talis, non-low resists. Troll else where, pal.

4.5k, 100ft range, insta-cast is not huge burst, it's an affront to balance and beyond the scope of the cap that was implemented on this server. I'm of the mindset that 4k is even too high of a cap, but that's one man's opinion. Perhaps you enjoy these types of exchanges.

Subtle to not-so subtle attempts of invoking mob justice, limited knowledge of game mechanics, low effort 3x-wounds-debuff*-no-pot roaming...

If you suspect something to be broken, submit it to the bugtracker with evidence.
If you suspect someone to be breaking rules of any description, submit it to the GMs with evidence.
Whereby evidence is ranging from screenshots (combat log, names, chat log) to videos, if live iterations are concerned reliable and credible patch notes/statements/footage.

Yadayada.

*If you jump a sorc that knows how to timestamp/is powered by a WC buff with even a single wounds debuff... you can't be helped. So calm your tits. If you want GM attention use the venues that you are meant to use.
