I would advice against Engies.
Its very much a wack a mole class.
Sure you can Macro together a bunch of DoTs to 1 button but it's still gonna be a 5 button rotation with a shitloads of situational skills, morales etz.

Id probobly go for Kotbs. The class isn't very action oriented and more about timing situationals and static passive buffs.

Since so many folks have suggested KotBS, I'm willing to give it a shot. Though, my concern is, as a melee class, how mobile will I need to be? One of the reasons I've stayed away from melee classes, tanks included, is the amount of moving around that's needed; range typically requires far less and allows me to hang back a bit.

I would just stay away from melee classes, not played to 100% or played to 100% you need to chase people around both cases.

Just go for the ranged like engies, atleast u can manage to sit around in a corner throwing ebola at people.

Just be careful with nerfed buttons, it's a crutch. I'm an unashamed, casual clicker but I'll never use nerfed buttons.

I've yet to use nerfed buttons, though admittedly I'm not really at a point where I'd need to. That said, I've never really utilized add-ons in MMOs, so while I'm going to give it a shot, especially if it can save my hands and wrists a bit of pain, I'm not sure I'll use it for important situations.

You could try and poke Sullemunk, <in theory> utilizing /follow and wrapping it into an addon might help you with mdps ~ atleast KotBS, you'd still need to make adjustments due to terrain.

Imho, a dev approved addon pack that allows for a higher level of accessibility for folks with physical issues might be quite fancy and appropriate. However, until client control (or for a variety of other reasons; workload, yadayada)* it be a pipe dream.

E: Punctation; added an important bit*.
