Lag from Dallas, TX

Hey...does anyone play this game in Dallas, TX....I basically get lag every single time I play where I can't move and everything locks up for 5-15 seconds and then speeds up again...makes the game almost unplayable at times...I have tried literally everything on the forums at one time or another...I have fiber 100 up and down and continue to do speedtests...wondering if anyone else is in the same boat and if they got it to work what they did. Thanks

I think some of these harder lag spikes are worse than they have been of late. I'm in upstate New York and there's always a bit of lag but the lockups are something new.

I'm also in Dallas and have ~850 up/down.

I have definitely experienced lag, but not what you're describing as far as "where I can't move and everything locks up." The lag I experience seems pretty random and probably only about 5% of the actual time I play. It's almost entirely heavy rubber banding due to insane 30000ms+ latency but usually subsides after several minutes.

What is your ISP? I'm using AT&T.

Also, could you check what your latency is under Resource Manager? (Network Tab -> WAR.exe -> Last Column (Latency (ms))

If you have lag while moving it' your pc:
-bad gpu
-bad cpu(war is cpu heavy)
-bad nb / cpu setting in motberboard

If you have lag wnen using skill ( you press skll go after x seconds) or you can move but the rest of the ppl are freeze or staggering on the spot it's the internet connection( ping):
-isp/ provider
-internal building conbective problem

If you usually not have these problem it's the ror server lag which can happen sometimes in heavy stress situation.

In your case seems a computer related problem for what you wrote.

Está bien establecido que Internet dentro y alrededor de Texas se encuentra dentro del espacio y el tiempo. esto, muy probablemente, es el motivo de sus problemas. eso y tu computadora son una mierda.

It's not my CPU because I can play all other games perfectly fine with no lag spikes ever... it's just frustrating. I'll try the other stuff later tonight and reply again

It's the server I play regularly with NA players and we have been getting 5~second lockups caused by lag. This isn't the norm but it has been happening lately.
