WAR crafting systems?

Does anyone else remember the crafting systems?

I remember trying salvaging and butchering before settling on apothecary. Salvaging was useless as salvageable items didn't drop much and most of the time when you did salvage it gave you nothing. Butchering I found was great for getting extra money from dead critters, but I never found a way to actually make stuff. Apothecary I stuck with until the end because I could make useful potions and dyes. Not to mention seeds were/are everywhere and plants were easy to grow. I remember the GUI having four boxes with plants in different stages.

Salvaging was extremely useful for talisman-making. It always gave a frag one colour below the salvaged item (or same if it crit) iirc, but orange vendor gear gave blue frags and purple ones if it crit. Was the only way to get frags for certain talis like wounds/tough/resist I think.

You needed butchering for armour potion ingredient from spiders (and maybe salamanders or sth like that?) and prob some other ones you couldn't get from the other gathering skills.

(Don't remember this stuff 100% but think it's how it was)

Salv was the only way to get frag for the real important stuff like crit and power.
Butchering was great for armor pots from the lizards in lotd.

From my understanding Crafting is LAST on the list for fixing.

I never personally bothered with the crafting system. I didn't care for it. It just wasn't a good system imho. Really confusing and badly designed. Don't know if there are any addons that improve the system, though.

But who knows? I might give it a chance again, when it's fixed ^^

I got heavily into crafting I do in every mmo. Wars was admittedly real bad though. Still it gave an added dimension to character immersion making your own pots and talis. Also gave an added meaning to a limited and pretty empty pve.

Butchering was farming lizards for scales to be used by a Apothecary to make armor pots.
Cultivating was growing mats out of seeds to make more pots using Apothecary (liniments, hp pots, ap pots, 110 single stat pots). Then there was salavging for DEing gear for frags, scavenging was for killing mobs and looting curious mostly if i remember right. Then the last was tali making which put frags and curios together to make talis

Since We are randomly teleported under city or at the dead end of the scenario map, where we cant ressurect and our abbilities triger cooldowns even they had no effect, I would not bother with crafting. The core of Warhammer online is PvP. A function PvP with unbugged abbilities. I hope crafting is on the farest end of patching train.

Crafting led to potions/talismans that were crucial for proper fighting.

why was it so bad for you? war was the first time i saw a craft system not too hard to understand and level, talisman where easy to made also material were easy to understand, same things for seed with just 1 seed you could arrive at 200, first game where i enjoyed craft something. And i haven't to bother with it it was a easy task ( because is not have a hard craft system what i want) maybe create potion was little harder may i say.

they where crucial because if your enemy have and your not you had a disadvantage, also wounds liniment was just stupid, as there were some armor potion +900 , ap potion, moral potion, absorb potion....... and what about ppl with +2k heal when ap under 20/30%.
there where like ppl make mass use of these things, personaly craft them for themself and for no other, ppl like had 3-4 toon that where able to do all by himself.
So another things to fix is how potion interact with eachother ( and remove/ not make heal anymore wounds potion, seriusly no one use that unless for exploit it).
