I feel in order for grenade spec to be competative you have to build full damage in stats, one of the main issues with constantly trying to keep a dot rotation up is the ap consumption, granted the egineer does have ap tactics to fix this but at the cost of seriously reducing damage output, which is of course ok concidering its mostly damage over time.
