30% armor pen is nothing.... thats the point... My SW has 75%.. but with the current patch status you cannot compare SW - SH
I'd say 50% is a MUST HAVE... 60%+ is even better

75% armorpen is 1050 WS this is not possible I think for SH. I assume you reach it with triple WS bonus : assault stance + Wrist slash tactic + instinctive aim tactic

SH only have the equivalent of instinctive aim tactic... so SH will get 240 WS below = around 700 WS (50%pen) or around 800-850 with full renown WS with best stuff and talis.

as you can't reach 1000WS, you'd better reach ballistic softcap or your damage will be low on squishie too !

as for stats for SH : WS talis for sure !

you should reach Ballistic soft cap with 1 or 2 ballistic set bonus + pot (merc+conq or merc+BL...)

Tested on my SW, you get 100BS while debuffing 100 initative to your traget. this buff doesnt stack with BS pot. so get liniment with WS if they already exist, or get thoughness pot..

Is there any sense in spending RR on things like Deft Defender? Or should I spend them all an crit/WS?^^

Atm I'm 40/42 with my Squiggi. It does feel definitely less powerful, then it was back on live :/

i just reached 40/40. I use 2pieces of ani and 2pcs of mercenary for x2 BS bonus. It gives to me ~1020BS. So, maybe better to use FULL 5pcs set for 5% crit and for +1point skill tree?

Your RR spending, build, and gear is dependant on who you're teaming up with. If in a group, I will often times run glass cannon and full offensive. If we end up facing tougher premades, I will raise my init, lower crit%, and get me some DeftDefender (all the while bitching about stackable initiative debuffs). If solo, and surfing the zerg, I'll stay glass cannon. If solo, and solo roaming, I'll typically slot more defensively with defensive gear.
If drunk, I run mushroom tip first into order while screaming aloud that "I'm a golden god!".

So, in short...or long...it all depends on your group and your ability to pre-kite and position yourself well.
