Spent 40minutes sitting on a BO to get to rank2, then we siege 2 doors for 15minutes.
Now we are fighting a pve Boss and the enemy runs to their BOs..

There is no more pvp.

So did you folks send people from the keep out to the BOs? Was the lowered hitpoints of the Lord noticeable? How did the rest of the siege go?

People not doing Gunbad is their prerogative. When wards come into play, players will be forced to do Gunbad if they wish to do the other dungeons. I know that's a hyperbole, so let me reply with another: the day this server will allow people to get BiS equipment through PvE only and/or PvE cockblocks, it will be a dead server. You can put A LOT effort while doing RvR too, so why complicate PvPers' life? Also, on live you could get PvE wards with good PvP equipment, so you didn't have to run all the old and low level instances with a rr60+ character on and on. Gunbad is NOT run by puggers today, do you think that it will be run more in the future, when it will be even older and more useless?

I hope you guys won't steer from the core idea of Warhammer, which is RvR, cause I am pretty sure that the majority of people feel this way.

My experience so far:

1.TM order tried to take down lord. Destro got organised and fought over BOs. Epic battles and awesome RvR. Best Warhammer. A long and enjoyable fight.

2. Ostland Destro tried to take down Lord and gave up in favour of fighting over BOs. Order got annoyed and fought back. GMs killed us and told Destro to live test on Lord. There were some epic moments but overall it was a bit grim to fight over the same BO for so long. On the other hand quite exciting to be involved in this historic moment.

Overall these measures tended to drive players to desperate measures which makes for great gameplay. Some people complained they cannot PVE the lord. For me I enjoy the RvR not PVE. More players joined in, and the fight was more real and sustained. There was less zerg rolling, and more meeting of rivals and foes fighting to the bitter end.

3 full WB hitting lord can take him down in 15-20min(Based on how fast his hp goes down) with zero heal
Let assume 20min.So basically it is 5% a min.
All it takes is destro to take 2 BO and it will takes about 2 hr
Good luck getting 3 WB to PvE lord for 2 hr.

So basically you need 2 WB on BO defend +3 WB on lord aka 5:1 advantage to have a reasonable chance to take down lord.

PS: You only need 2:1 advantage to get a keep to 5 star.
So it is no surprising that destro in Praag did not touch the order keep when they have 80% AAO , instead they choose to lvl the keep.

This game should be about RvR/PvP, and I'm sure the majority of players want it that way.

Please don't make PvE a requirement for being competitive in PvP. Once PvE becomes the "endgame", I'm outta here, and I bet many others feel the same.

This barely qualifies as PvE to beat on one mob. Consider it holding the point with just enough activity to keep you awake while it's captured.

And FTR yeah gotta agree, if lots of endgame PvE gets forced on us to become PvP viable I think this game is gonna lose a lot of it's appeal to people that came back looking for the best PvP game they ever played.

Unless they ramp up the difficulty Sewers and LV wont be that hard to complete.

You speak for yourself and no one else, your now ranting opinion has been made several times over, repeating what YOU want will have no bearing on the decisions of the team. Stay out of these patch notes from this point.
I agree with Kryss. I like to rvr that's why I loved DoAC until toa, WAR until lotd and now RoR. If I wanted to grind gear doing repetitive mind numbing raids and such I'd still be playing LoTR.

I do really appreciate the effort and time the dev team puts into this game and I am having a blast RvR'ing with some pve thrown in. Thanks for keeping this game going.
