The rewards will come with 2 next chap 22 pairing .
It’s designed for a 18 players warband , you can bring 24 players before encounter damage and stats are changed .
The Pq is fun and when Zerg will stop a bit’ , you can bring your guild and the one that are not interested with loot can opt out on gold bags . PQ are good for that so I’m not sure it’ will be hard to get the gear this way .

Re: Onslaught and hard PQs22
As an aside: how much is the wounds proc on the Marauder set? And whats its icd? If its equivalent to the Conq proc for tanks, that would be ridiculously good for solo roaming.
Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king!
Re: Onslaught and hard PQs22
The PQ is too hard for lv 32 gear. The challenge is fun but at the end I just exhausted a lot of time for gear I can't use .

So as bestlords renown rank is set to 30-33 that means it's not really worth doing? Perfect thinking right there.
The 32 is just a number we picked. We can set it to 60 - will it be worth doing then? I have no idea from that weird idea that renown rank on the gear is set at all came from.

10% for 80 wounds I think and it's probably the same.

Difficulty target is 18-24 competent players. Maybe a little more if you can handle the damage buffs, but not a lot more.
Time investment target is similar to other full sets you can acquire at this gear level.
Other full sets as in Conq and Domi? I don't think you can compare Onslaught to those in terms of time investment. Conq and Domi both have respective unifying currencies that give you a lot of flexibility in how you complete the set. In case of Dominator you can even purchase two set pieces on the auction house. You can make progress towards completing these sets solo as well as in group and the better your group is the less time it will take. Another important point is that time spent on activities that work towards completing these sets is also time spent gaining renown.
Onslaught grind on the other hand is just hours of mind numbing mob bashing for a single purpose: a chance to roll the dice on a purple/gold bag while competing with 17-23 other people with no guarantee that the piece you get from the bag won't be one that you already have. If you're lucky you can scavenge a fragment here and there but that too is something you will most likely have to compete for.
The new set bonuses are a breath of fresh air for some classes, I just really hope the set doesn't get tucked away behind soul crushing PvE and rng.

There is no risk you know what the gear is.Trekman wrote: Tue Apr 24, 2018 4:13 pmThe PQ is too hard for lv 32 gear. The challenge is fun but at the end I just exhausted a lot of time for gear I can't use .
The real question is, is the gear good enough for the time investment. But it doesnt seem like you mean that either.
It seems like you are saying the gear isnt good enough to use. Which might be true depending on what you are playing and what gear you plan on using.
For me the PQ was pretty good. The gear is alright, but the time investment is a little much for me for that gear. However since it just came out and it has been said the rates will or may be adjusted I will hold my personal judgement on that until things become more concrete.
I tried the order PQ as a RP. Really liked the trash mob SHs using bad gas. Having done all the PvE content of the live version, it was always a little boring as a healer. You either spam group heal or ST heal depending on what was going on. I actually like the 5 second CD on group heal. Makes it less mindless.

Re: Onslaught and hard PQs22
Why would you attempt a PQ intended for RR45+ Merc/Anni/BL+ players at level 32? Doesn't sound like Hargrim is to blame for that.Trekman wrote: Tue Apr 24, 2018 4:13 pmThe PQ is too hard for lv 32 gear. The challenge is fun but at the end I just exhausted a lot of time for gear I can't use .

Re: Onslaught and hard PQs22
First of all i loved the idea of the new content and had fun so far.
Made 5-6 runs on the pq it was nice and challenging even if we had some wipes - fails.
I think the reward system need to be better. Imagine that you are missing 1-2 armor parts and even if u get gold bags u still get the same pieces that you already have. It might take months to complete the set if you are not that lucky. Most of the ppl will also give up easily because it is a PVE content that requires full wb to complete. It makes it harder.
If it can implemented with fragments that u can exchange with the gear like the ruin set works then i think its worth the time. And it might take a while but u can finish the set.
