Is “on your guard” a good enough aura to twist?

Hey guys so I just hit 12 today and so I just got this new aura and I m wondering if this aura is good enough for me to twist? Or if I should stick to the default str, tough and resists and if I should twist it which aura should I replace? I like to play defensive SnB guard tank so maye str?

~Thanks in advance guys

Imagine you are facing many melee enemies and almost no magical users. Resist buff is useless while the "thorns" aura will help you a lot. When I was fighting melee 1v1 on my kotbs it was the 1st must. Then I had the heal on successful parry/block and then str buff. Depends on the situation you face. Always ;)

If you or your team is getting attacked by opposition which is less than 10% health, such as after a aoe bomb, then yes it's good.

I use it against melee teams.

I tested On Your Guard in a long Nordenwatch scenario in which I made zero attacks and only twisted auras. I got 10k+ damage in the SC from that aura alone.

You had 17,000 damage from OYG alone. It's OP. I had top kb's and top damage on my guardbot tonight, and he has no strength and had a shield on, and did 27k with 8kbs. I imagine most of it was from OYG. It's a must and probably a bit too OP.

it's pretty usefull, since min 1/3 of wb will be tank so they all go melee, plus some dps, we can assume a 50% ppl will go melee; but it's only good as secon/third aura, always have active resistences aura for first(because debuff 20% damage to all allies have no price).
it will become useless in t4 btw when kobs have GOD tactic + aura combos...
(something like 20% crit chance and +15% heal to all party...pretty godly ah ? )

actually the auras are designed to have them ALL active by twisting them in the right moment.
