Hello guys,
i'm new to Warhammer online and i always liked to be the healing role in MMO's . I wanted to know what is the best and easiest healer class for a beginner?
By easy i mean that the mechanics are not too complicated, the character is not too squishy and can take some hits and is doing well in solo stuff like grinding/farming mobs and so on.
I also want to be ranged, so that i can stand away from the battle and heal from behind, so i dont want to deal damage when playing in groups - just pure healing (if there is such thing in WAR).
When soloing, like grinding/farming mobs, i would like to be able to do still enough damage to kill mobs without struggle and a decent killspeed.

I would say Runepriest or Zealot. WP/DoK has got a bit complicated mechanic to grasp for beginners. Runepriest has got simple mechanic, your "mana pool" is simply amount of AP u get with time, so no need to worry about that. You can focus on healing and learn how to do it properly.
@OP - dont worry about exp grind, exp comes with joining and actively participating so more you do for group more u get. Get to a bigger guild that is active in RvR and scenarios. Exp grind leave to hardcore players, crafters or idiots wanted to have char 40/X with no clue how to use tools every lvl bring to them. I mean, there is nothing worse than exp grind to rank 40 and dont know how to use your new 10+ skills. Besides not having medalions/emblems to wear t4 entry lvl gear to survive longer than 3s vs any dps.

Warrior Priest and Deciple of Khaine are extremly hard to play good but are top notch when played right.
Zealot and Runepriest are extremly effective even when played at beginner lvl coz you're pretty much immune to interupts due to instant heals and the tactic procs make up for when you screw up. (Armor/Bouble/Heal+)
Am/Sham are just bad RP/Zealots atm.

I would recommend shaman.
but every healers can be played as your need.
it's safe to choose by aesthetics.
