snb BO losing THC is painful but i trust the devs to follow up the changes. the reason it hurts so much is because the bruiser snb has been THE build for as long as i can remember, outside of some warband boss specs

i hope future changes to come will allow BOs to specialize in one way or the other more, rather than always having to be a hybrid. SM has a top tier offensive spec but also an insane def spec with its bubbles. in the same vein i would like to see BO get more offensive 2H tools and more defensive snb tools

as for lore black orcs are a diverse bunch, they're not all just mindless brutes like regular orcs

True I ditched bo a long time ago when you improved boss tree.
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

Bozzax wrote: Sun Jul 08, 2018 7:51 pm Snb bo has taken quite a beating in ror

-Aoe snare (10s cd)
-no x2 ws buff (from 11pts tactic)
-Moral on block (much lower rate)
-no thc
-no 1s kb wo immmunity on RIDJ (been on bugtracker for years)
- (bugged? 80% magic damage on grp)

(Gained aa haste and chop fasta on 13ptd not a big fan of those tbh)

The list above pretty much are why you grabbed a bo for grp and you may have gone to far on this class considering it nativly lack very important cc compared to BG/CHO.
and gained, aoe absorb on rock ard, team aa increase on WAAAAAAAGH!, down ya go giving team a CD decreaser

Somewhat disingenious of you to completely ignore what doesnt add into your narrative of the BO being wrecked.....
BO is not wrecked but those changes to the tree for the most did not feel like a buff, not manny seem to use the right tree nowadays , tried it but the 10s cooldown defiantly hurt the right hand tree spec, the rest of the stuff is coulurfull but not something to write home about.
The go to specs were the left or right tree As SnB (2h BOis fun but suicidal) so the change leaves group/WB with only mid tree in my world
But a lot of this discussion is in the balance threads certainly the 2h bit.

Most importantly I think we are divergiging from the big thing of the release that being client controll and squiggies

Just a suggestion for the future. If you are going to roll out multiple "exciting" changes, you may want to try to balance them for each side to even out the population a bit. Order has been underwater as far as AAO goes for a few weeks but these past few days are somewhat extreme (100%+ AAO for hours today).

Not sure how much warband level utility of the SH changes you can ascertain when pure numbers allow Destro to pretty much crush everything in the field at the moment.

Not the worst idea about, could be worth a post on feedback and suggestions forum, may add a bit of stress to dev team to make changes to both sides to boost player testing on both sides

I've seen order win plenty of zones since patch day and as destro I've had AAO quite often. I don't recall any order complaining that destro should have been buffed harder when the Guardian rework came through and all destro got 1 was WE change. And FYI Guardian rework and Stabbity rework were both announced literally the same day and order got theirs about half a year before destro did, so hard to follow your logic that order is "owed" another set of buffs this patch just because the ones destro was "owed" came late. Telling the devs they can't release 1 rework until they balance it by doing an equal amount of work for a different class they might not be as motivated to work on at the time seems a bit ridiculous IMO.

Initial feedback on SWs shadowstep:
Cast time is a little long for effective use, very easy to set back for the enemy.
Movement feels kinda slow, actually expected to blink into existence at the enemy target. (Technical reasons why not?)
At last and by far the most important, it has the same problem as pounce had, landing at the position of the target when you cast, target is out of reach when you land, making it kinda usless as a gap closer. Ofc you can snare up front, but stance swap plus dodge chance makes it very unreliable and clunky.

Defensive buffs is awsome. Does wonders for soloing.
Does AA increase stack with inherent AA increase in assault stance?

Will probably not use shadowestep it in current form as you have to sacrifice an important tactic or heal debuff (at rr70, worse for lower rr players) for defensive buff at 2 sec cast (effectivly). Will test further before final conclusion.

Great patch all in all :)

Never noticed this before, might be new bug, if you use /rel while in Squig Armor your abilities all revert to your gobbo form ranged attacks until you leave and enter SA again.

No. They got Rebounding Hatred.

SM's still have Wall of Darting Steel.
I have just read the skill description, it's similar to WoDS, but for destro :D :D
Ezraim - SM 7x
Tessaline - WP 5x
Binary - BW 6x

Two things I've notice on my squig so far which looks like they're not intended:

* the Speedbuff remains up if you leave the squig armor until using a skill.
* "Don't Hit Me!" is grayed out, if in squig armor but usable nonetheless.

Squig-wise it looks like a fun patch, hadn't the time to test it out properly yet. Still not sure if those "fun stuff" will justify a slot in a premade for a melee squig. We will see.

PS: Can't wait for a Git-Warband full of melee squigs and shamans. Prepare uranus, the gits are on the loose!
