Earning Conquerer Medallions question

Hello, I've noticed that when i participate in orvr and flip a zone, I often get 2-3 medallions, and a couple of seals usually, whether it was modest or stalwart contribution. On the other hand, often when I have to log before the zone is flipped for either side I tend to get a much larger number of medallions in the mail. Last night I got 20 medallions which is the largest to date, usually it's about 5-10. I also didn't notice a correlation with earning a bag as that has been all over the place for me.

I haven't been recording the numbers, just something I've noticed, so I may be off a bit.

I couldn't find a post explaining how it functions as I understand the devs don't want it revealed exactly, which is fine, but could someone shed light on this?

You get more medallions from zone locks in racial pairings.

For example: Dark Elves/High Elves get more medallions in Caledor/DW/Eataine
Greenskins/Dwarfs get more medallions in KV/TM/BC
Chaos/Empire get more medallions in CW/Praag/Reikland

It's true for t4 seals, you almost always get 2 seals from mail. in place of 1 from normal zone lock.
don't care much about medals but seems it's double too.

not sure if it's intended or bug.
maybe bugtracker?
