- DoTs will no longer incorrectly raise OnHit events when they tick. OnHit events will, correctly, only be raised when they are first applied. This means that DoT ticks will no longer consume stacks of Taunt, Detaunt, Challenge, Guard, break stealth, etc.
Does this apply to the Grudge/Hate mechanics ? When DoT became defendable, it also made them generate Grudge on each tic, everytime it did damage.

Last week, although they were not defendable, they still generate Grudges on each damage tic.

So now that they don'T raise Onhit events, will it go back to no creating Grudges at all ?

Azarael wrote: Sat Aug 04, 2018 10:25 am You misunderstand. The initial application of a DoT triggers AA. The bug before was that ticks of a DoT would count as attacks, so if you detaunted at close range with a DoT up, the detaunt handler would suppress your AA, but a later DoT tick would reactivate your AA. This is now fixed.

I found the example.

If this counts for all classes, dots and debuffs, then yes.

I agree with Tesq. The disrupt problem was on healers due to all the extra disrupt they got with willpower. Could of just toned down the amount disrupt that willpower gave to healers instead of a universal nerf to all the other classes.

Surely just dots, not debuffs. Wiping things like snares with your detaunt seems like too much.

What if the debuff has a dot component then?

They would not generate grudge/hate no.

Then maybe. We're talking about sneaking damage past your detaunt which was never the point of detaunt. If there is not a clear dot/debuff divide could maybe make it so your dots do zero damage while your detaunt is on the target?
