Re: Server Patch notes 04/08/2018
Easiest thing to do initially is have detaunt cut both ways. 50% damage reduction on any damage effects from you that are on the detaunted target for as long as the detaunt lasts.

Possible to have saupreusses proposal for single target detaunts and yours for AoE detaunts?Azarael wrote: Sat Aug 04, 2018 1:05 pm Easiest thing to do initially is have detaunt cut both ways. 50% damage reduction on any damage effects from you that are on the detaunted target for as long as the detaunt lasts.

thats for sure, yet meta was too way defensive, but changes just removing defensive % stats from the game. Pretty sure rr striketrough should be limited to casters, or at least be more expensive for classes who already got striketrough tactics. 30+ dodge striketrough is a jokeTesq wrote: Sat Aug 04, 2018 12:26 pm I know first impression = hate, but disrupt problem was on only healers, extend the bypass to all DD will have conseguences...

Re: Server Patch notes 04/08/2018
No, because of issues previously pointed out. Some DoTs provide secondary effects.Arbich wrote: Sat Aug 04, 2018 1:42 pmPossible to have saupreusses proposal for single target detaunts and yours for AoE detaunts?Azarael wrote: Sat Aug 04, 2018 1:05 pm Easiest thing to do initially is have detaunt cut both ways. 50% damage reduction on any damage effects from you that are on the detaunted target for as long as the detaunt lasts.
Re: Server Patch notes 04/08/2018
hm... well ok. I must test it anyway. Just by reading it sounds like that as BW casting ignite, slow boil, boiling blood, detaunt, skip part of the rotation, nova immediately before slow boil (or boiling blood) hits, means full damage from dots.

This is what I suggested long time ago and in this thread too but the last time I spoke to Natherul it was said that it would require a large rework how dots are handled.Azarael wrote: Sat Aug 04, 2018 1:05 pm Easiest thing to do initially is have detaunt cut both ways. 50% damage reduction on any damage effects from you that are on the detaunted target for as long as the detaunt lasts.

Is it easy?

Dying is no option.
Re: Server Patch notes 04/08/2018
Yeah and a detaunted wasted for 2sec detaunt effect and skipping a damage skill. I wouldn't say this rotation is useful.Arbich wrote: Sat Aug 04, 2018 2:04 pm hm... well ok. I must test it anyway.
