Seeing how we are all different and that's a good thing, I voted combat(it's the CORE of the game, no matter if solo PvE, Group PvE, Scenarios or RvR!), tier 2 and PQs. Seeing that I am mostly a PvE player that goes into RvR only when he hasn't got anything better to do.I don't do scenarios so, so those are of very little consenquence to me. Party frames are a good choice as well, but I decided to be selfish.
Objectivelly:
1. Combat
2. Frames
3. The rest of mechanics(potions, talis etc)

What I think will keep interest of existing players/bring old players back/entice new players
Scenario balance and party frames
Renown rewards (ability to use renown points and renown gear equal or maybe a little below PvE drops)
Abilities working properly
I'd also imagine if AAO or some increased renown was given in ORvR it might improve numbers in the lakes. Maybe when keeps come in have resource carriers and protect-the-RC renown rewards

I see the topic creator has updated the guild herald demand...
The thing is all of these suggestions or demands are too broad and can't be compared with each other. Sure, SC frames aren't working but that is an issue that can't really be compared with why the skills aren't entirely functional because spells and GUI are two complete things.
I think if the topic creator narrowed it down and focused plainly onto the issues of PvP and not things outside would make this thread much more alive, aware and read by everyone. Right now people will just hurl their comments here and there and some may even loose themselves in the thread.
Also changing the name of the thread to something... "What's the most imp thing to fix in PVP?"

Ok - here's an easy one (I would think)
Upon death, clear all negative effects (and potentially buffs) - since you can't 'wait to accept' a rez and it's auto accepted, if you have a bunch of long running dots you can die twice more after rezzes if the healer doesn't start healing you right away
Certainly if you 'respawn' all negative dots should be wiped clean

I'd say that would count under the "Fully working abilities"-vote.aeoric wrote:Ok - here's an easy one (I would think)

Re: What's the most important things to fix? [POLL]
As much as I'd like to have fundamental combat issues fixed and all abilities and buffs working correctly and party frames working so that healing stops being a frustrating masochist job, when scenarios are balanced I have LOTS of fun. When scenarios are imbalanced I end up thinking: What's the point? Even when my side is winning -especially when my side is winning. So, if the point is having a challenging and exciting experience, and, let's face it, scenarios are right now -apart from the odd RvR event - the goal, the final situation that people have in mind when they are grinding their way through levels and farming, the place where they will get to use their hard earned gear and impress others with their skill (or lack thereof), I cannot imagine a single more urgent issue in need of a fix than scenaio imbalance. All classes are more or less broken. I play my WL daily, one of the most broken ones as the percentage of WLs show clearly- and have lots of fun when scenarios are not very imbalanced. I play my healer and have a great time trying to save people except when the damage is unhealable cos we are 5 against 25 or healing is superfluous because we are 25 against 5. First things first. I can be wounded, dazzled, disoriented and limp but I can keep on fighting when theres a more or less equal number of opponents, especially when my opponents are also semi disabled like me:D

When might the new combat code be released?Azarael wrote:New code handles this.aeoric wrote:Ok - here's an easy one (I would think)

Or is that the one that you have to test with all the abilities (up to L40) before it's released?
Btw - do you spin up a 2nd server for play-testing stuff like that? (since L40/T4 is a long way off, maybe some of us would be able to help with play-testing the abilities?)
