Assist

I miss having my #1 ability as /assist or /assist<name>. I'm guessing this is something that Enemy deals with, but honestly, I don't like that mod. Any one know if we will be able to /assist in the near future or any simpler mods that will make this a non-issue?

Thanks

Afaik there are two different methods for macro assisting:

1. the buildin assist function of the game (the fast method, with or without addons, doesn't work yet)
2. assisting with comunication over custom hidden chat channels (the slow method, only with addons, doesn't work yet)

But why you don't like enemy :?: It has the group UI with the best overview imo.
The best assist addon is "swiftassist" (no chat comunication = no lag when the server has high load)

melee assist chains cann work around it with just running next to each other and mashing pick nearest target, ranged assist groups should use voice chats to coordinate assist

Ingame assist is broken because the server doesn't send the information about a client's current targets to other clients. It's also the reason you don't see enemy characters turn at the waist to face their primary target, only your own.

I have tried to get the addon 'assist' to work but it won't work at the moment. I believe all the other addons which do similar things are also broken.
