Those 10-15 were 50-60+ some time ago, and will be 1-3 in the near future. Hell, a few months ago a thread like this one would have 20+ pages by now. 11 pages mean several people simply stopped caring at this point. You can repeat to yourself as much as you want that they don't matter (and pretend everything is fine when there are no longer any forum critics), but the day RoR has 200 players online you will sorely miss them.

Calling the community shitters, abusing and calling other staff members idiots, harassing players multiple times, insulting players for not noticing stealth nerfs, stealth nerfing things, telling the balance forum moderator to wipe his ass with the proposals, use GM commands to move keep lords, give himself free gear, use "tricks" (As a former member of the staff called them) to kill everyone easily in the t4 trailers resulting in said staff member kicking him out of the server, silencing and banning people that discovered he had 200dps weapons in t3, secret vendors outside of Ostland, use of OP items in live server that led him to have his rights revoked for a while.

You're really calling the one that exposed all of this a snake? Meanwhile you're defending the source of all this. Stockholm Syndrome is bad.

I have wondered about this... especially the exploiting of secret vendors, giving selves free gear, and stocking "friends" up with rare items, such as armor materials for crafting. If this is true, the game is forever broken. Illicit loot ruins gaming every time. Admin abuse is the #1 killer. Good luck. This much drama has ruined the fun for me, for the most part.

Is you Yali cosntantly ignoring the issue what lead us to this, how does ignoring it even more help at all? You want to show goodwill and how you changed? Maybe dont kick the guy who spoke up about the issues and put a giant letter condemning him and calling him autistic?

That is the giant elephant in the room Yali, on one hand you ask us to please calm down and wait for the changes but when you had one of your team speak up and call for change, you kicked him out and denounced him publically, he gave evidence and you give promises.

And the problem is that is not the first one, you had Geni already telling you this years ago, you had CeeGee kicked for talking badly about Torq on a private conversation and now you have Aza kicked because he tried to be the one that changes things.

As the father of an autistic son I am only too aware of and experienced in dealing with how a certain percentage of society at large both perceives and tends to deal with the autistic. The American Public School system in particular is rife with people, people known of as teachers, who believe themselves either too smart or too important to waste their time dealing with a student who, due to the effects of an actual diagnosed disability, may make their job a little harder. Ergo:

Calling someone who is autistic autistic in itself is not necessarily a disparagement. The Autistic themselves are taught to embrace the word as a symbol of empowerment. The problem in regard to calling someone autistic always concerns context.

I saw the original letter in question as posted. Actually, I captured a copy of it. Having over twenty-one years of experience in dealing with either the soft, passive, intentional, or narcissistic bigotry inherent in and evidenced by a particular segment of society toward the autistic, I know arrogant presumption and intolerant bias when I see it. Consequently, I know when the word has been used as an insult.

I appreciate what all of you on the team have done in regard to this project, I really do. But in context of this particular issue, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Every fracking last one of you. But I seriously doubt that is the case.

Tell everyone speaking out in just cause to get the f. out of the server, nice, thats the way to go. Surely great future awaits RoR with such attitude. Loosing half the pop over half a year and few staff members thanks to two individuals massive misconducts wasnt enough for you i guess.

I just want to thank you for this. You eloquently said what I couldn't because of the rage in my heart. As the mommy of a beautiful little girl who just happens to be Autistic, I completely agree with this 100%. The fact that it was used as slur is disgraceful. As many of you know, I didn't take the original letter too well either. Do you know how many people I call out in game and kick outta the SOD discord over this stuff? I'm hoping for change. Giving it at least another month...…………….
