ok many thanks everyone. looks like it's much simpler than i thought. glad to know data is a non issue (as long as i patch on someone else's wifi...) gonna get a surface pro because i'd rather stick with windows

The game works fine on a low-cost entry 200$ laptop with integrated GPU. Tablet... Not sure. Probably. As long as it has 2+ gb ram and can handle windows 10, I guess it should be possible to run WH with some amount of lag in mass pvp. Regarding connection, a good 3G seems to be enough. 4G would be perfect.
