I fist had WaR on release back in the day, with a PC that could just handle the game. After 3 main characters becoming trapped in cities (my PC couldn't handle them!) I packed it in.

But I have never forgotten!

Now I am in New Zealand and I am desperate to find some people who are in the same or similar time zone to play with!

Well, actually, during the End Times, Malekith was revealed to be the true and rightful Phoenix King of all elves.

This is official lore/canon from Games Workshop.

So yeah, you should roll out the red carpet for your one true king.

As for BBQs, Malekith has no trouble with them, unlike all the fake phoenix kings who needed to have enchantments and wards placed on them, just to survive a simple BBQ...

I get on average 280ms. I don't notice any lag. Actually my ping in NZ seems to be better than that of some people in Australia, from what I've seen on this forum.

280ms is pretty good to Europe IMO, considering a decade ago my ping even to the much closer West US servers of WoW was higher than that (around 350ms). There's definetly been some improvements.

Where are you staying in NZ?

Thats a big difference from the 22 ms I get here in the Netherlands ! I ll be staying in Christchurch or thereabouts.
