[choppa] How do you deal damage?

I was out in rvr and ran across an AM.

It was a good fight, all 9 seconds of it, i did not get enough furry to KD him.

He is a RR60 AM and im a level 45 Ch so he dos have the advantage. I have capped Str with potion and 550Ws, RR points are in perry/disrupt and crit. i got 8% crit from gear, 2% from rr.

The thing is, he out damages me. I do 5341dmg and 2789 midigated/absorbed for a total of 904 dps, he dos 8258dmg 880midigated for a total of 1015dps.

This is ofcause fine, because I heal better than him....

So my question is. How do you guys do Damage, im thinking that a full dps spec dps should be atleast 75% more dmg than a heal in dps spec, at the very very least 50% more. So im missing 600dps - 800dps or about 100%.

Pointers?

I feel the issue wasn't in lack of dps, but in lack of defences on your part. You're basically specced full on offensive, d/d and parry from renown is not enough, especially when you've faced one of the best, if not the best dueling class.

You should get into fs lvl3 as well, get some more wounds, if you want to go for solo mode. Your current stats favors strongly play in a 6man matter, when you can get support.

I hear what your saying. But even with a full dps build on my part, he dos more dmg than me.

Let me clarify; He dos more damage pr. sec. than I do, BEFORE defence is applied, and as you say im almost purly offence in spec, on one of if not the most offensive class in the game, and he dos more damage than me.

And FS 3 is 30points more. So i would be RR75.

Looks like you use the wrong skills, also i dont see you using pots in the screeny. Also what reesh said+i think one time specced crit is not worth it you can put the points elsewhere.
I dont know what tactics you run but i would suggest you use go for da softspot as main attack combined with flanking(15% dmg from sides/behind)

Im thinking the same, about the crit. The fight lasted 9sec. Also... i must admit, i knew it was going to be a massive stomp fest on my face so i opted not to waste a potion.
