Server has ZERO Characters on it?

So I started up the game got it working, and the server, the only server I can select called "Martyrs Square" has 0 players on it, is that correct, also it is an EU server, is there perhaps an American server or????

Could this perhaps be the number of characters that I have myself?

You probably missed someting :)...

Do you use RoRlauncher to start the game?

No, it was as i thought was the amount of characters I have not the amount of people online
