Did you read what I wrote? Do you want to stop people from login in? Well that will kill the game and piss people off to no end.
And if you do? What are players to do? Keep trying to log into the game every minute for hours on end till a spot is open? Well hell that will kill the game 100% and then some. I mean screw that noise.
Have you really thought this out? Or just tired of being outnumbered and coming up with any idea that comes down the turnpike?![]()
Log to the smaller side, if you want fights or stay underdog and enjoy the kills with aao.
The suggestion has the same quality like xrealm timer. The OP isn't even the first one with the idea.

OK ... this is obviously a troll thread. You keep insisting that the only way to save the game is to STOP players from playing it. Obvious trolling.

kor to "...fix realm population imbalance" probably we need a different "staff culture"
ill try to explain, staff members should give an good example, should show the correct way to follow right?
What we have:
- xfaction gold trade allowed;
- banners showing theirs xrealms toons;
- advising players to play on diferent faction to see "the grass is not greener on other side";
- advising players to play mirrored classes so they can opinionated on balance discussions;
...just a few points to reflect...i know this is a free for all project with no leader, just "love for the game", but maybe in a near future instead of balance the toons we can balance the staff members ideas ;p

All points you listed don't cause imbalance. Players and their behavior can cause it but even then there could be "natural" effects.
Your anti-staff bias is getting annoying.

Re: Biggest problem on Live is still the biggest problem on RoR
How about "realm lockout timer" that induces friendly fire for the xrealmer? With 5x rewards for killing them by friendly faction. Would be fun. Just think of the drama. Would revitalize the entire game

my only staff problem is in t1 when i was killing some mobs in middle of IC and saw a SW (staff member) in a "creative mount" jump around like a power ranger, the rest is small issues that a proper project leader can solve

Writing something against the Xrealm Realmhopper does not make sense. All Supporters here are those. The Fact is that a lot of People have left the Game because they are fed up with the Crap. My Guild formerly 16 Members, no one here anymore. And no, they did not change sides but play something else. it's just subterranean when during a Keepraids suddenly half of the WB comes out because she supposedly has appointments. But keep it up, there will be even fewer

But is that a problem for anyone? Couldn't care less if they fly around in city.

Speaking from experience of leading wbs, and leading destro side to victory while having lower numbers.
People here assume that zerging with higher number in War is the actual fight. It isn't- since there is no permadeath or any similar permanent/long remowal from fight option here, victory here is breaking the other side's moral till they xrealm. The empty keeps zerging afterwords isn't the actual fight- its opening the loot chests after you already won.
So the complain about zerging isn't really a complain about balance- its a complain about the other side using the deserved benefits, after you lost the fight.
And again speaking from personal experience, winning vs superior numbers is very duable- you start with leading pug wb to take BOs, without staying at them for long enough for ther side's zerg to arrive, and make sure to keep the wb together even if you do get zerged. Keep the kill/death ratio in your favor, and make sure the other side can't take the keep, and your side will start to build up. Keep it for long enough, and eventually the other side will break and xrealm, which is the point where you actually won the fight.
