Thank you for the patch.

Concerning class balancing, am I the only one waiting for a balancing of squig Hunter?

Heal debuff in and out at distance, snare, several jump, several bump, debuff CD , armor, huge dps... as a rune priest I am almost sure to die when focus by a squig hunter. They can even jump alone into a full warband a escape easily... there no comparison for me with any other class

Read it but really cant understand the reason. If you wanted to better balance both sides I dont think it is the right way.

They are trying to even out the population of both sides, which honestly will never happen. The main problem of the game (which has led it to death) is 2 factions PvP in open world. GW2 and TESO made the right choice and went with 3 sides of the conflict...

Since we are stuck with the current 2-faction game, the population will always be in a cycle of constant migration and sometimes order will be overpopulated and then it will be destro and so on...

What they did with the "new and interesting idea" is pretty much forcing people like me who very much liked ONLY small scale RvR action to reroll into destro side, and it will be the end for a lot of players because not everyone will enjoy the extremely slow and boring leveling and then weeks (if not months) of grinding SC and RvR to finally become competative on the destro side.

Yea they want to force the zerg vs zerg and kill premades. TBH I dont thing there is tool that can even the numbers in game

Could mirror classes exactly and people would still play one side more than other. Though i do think game woulda been better with mirrored classes, that ship may have sailed...

Destro WB compositions are more varied/better than Order, yet I don't see that alleviating the population imbalance issues; it is a player issue.

- Added a malus to AAO:
XP, RR and Inf gains from slain players will scale negatively with their AAO inverse (so if they have 80% AAO they are worth 20% of the normal value).
If a player have 100 AAO or more they will NOT be counted towards contribution gain, quest, drop loot or increase the reward for downing a keep.
This change is to incentivize further that we dont want AAO fights but we want fights that are even in nature. And if AAO is too great there is no winning for either side. Gains will be looked at later and might be increased when this malus is not in effect. NOTE: This malus affect KILLS ONLY, not zone or keep locks.
Nothing changed, order still zerging hard.
time to add malus to zone/keep locks and bag rolls :roll: :twisted:
