Re: Patch Notes 27/01/2019
It's funny, people say that dps healers in the dps build was weak and needed buff. But when people say the same thing about tanks (now a no one tank can give out competitive dps) they say that the tank is a support class and he should not do dps)

Oh man, Invader! When can we expect a preview thread of the set other than "soon™"?

lol..... You balancing things out according to 6vs6 point of view?... No wonder changes didnt make sense for most of us. also "DPS Shaman suuuper strong" thats a good one mate.DanielWinner wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 11:18 amSulorie wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 11:11 am This change to AM/Sham even kills builds possible in live servers. The snare puddle is an elementary skill to make the healer class with the least defense keep distance to enemies. Now you can only use it in heal spec. Cleansing flare doesn't make sense in dps tree, when you have to take full 2 sec cast on a situational utility skill. In heal spec it would benefit from class mechanic and could be used more right in time.
I don't really get the reasons for those changes, can anyone explain them please?
Both classes don't even over-perform in dps spec, when you understand the effect of dots on sc dmg scoreboards and certain aoe dmg skills on both classes.
At best the changes will improve them in 6mans and weaken them in every other aspect.
Can't tell you about AM's performance (it didn't show great results during y-day 6v6 event) but DPS Shaman was suuuper strong, I'd even say slightly overperformed but even then these changes will hardly really hit its strongest tools.

I'm not sure if you're new here, but balance has always been centered predominately around 6v6 up to 24v24.davispeed wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 7:05 pmlol..... And yes: DPS Shaman is strong.
You should take off your rose-tinted bias glasses every so often.

Re: Patch Notes 27/01/2019
There should be some decision making in builds. AM/Shaman could get everything for whichever build in the old trees. Having top choose control or dps is a valid choice. If you build for pure dps you shouldnt have all your cc on an already mobile (very mobile in shamans case) class. DPS like BW has to make a choice to take SDR and Sorc well they just dont that choice. On live I regularly didnt spec mom to go silence. Changes the class to much closer to how a pure dps plays.
