Some on told me in game there's double xp and rp every other weekend. Is this true?

Eh, crap :( I had a glimmer of hope that my grind wouldn't be as tedious when reading the title, but no, I'll have to actually get good if I want to progress!
I'll see what I can do for that contest then.
