Question regarding % chance procs from gear.

For example, If I have 2 instances of "aggravation" proc from gear (SM) like 5 piece dominator, and "Ninth Peak," do I get 2x10% chance to proc taunt = 20%? Or is only one instance available, leaving me with 10% chance to proc total, because they don't stack?

I asked a similar question here, and this was the answer I received -

Abilities do not stack with abilities.
Procs count as abilities, and shouldn't stack if it boosts the same values.

I think it's 2 seperated 10% chance.
if both proc same time only 1 apply.

Like wargrimnir said : you are affected by only one aggravation . So you have 10% chance . Second aggravation won’t apply on you

For clarification - I'm trying to determine if 2 instances give me 10% chance 2 times.

As per Skullgrin quoting Wargrminir - I understand that 1 proc would override the other.

But can I get effectively double the proc chance by having both? As anarchypark stated?

You have two separate 10% chances which is different from having one 20% chance probabilty-wise.

Someone who is good at math can probably explain it a lot better.

It should be 1-0.9^2 = 19% chance for one of procs to trigger on hit.

You don’t have 2 separated chances . Only one proc buff will affect you . As bonus doesn’t stack , o ply one proc will be applied , the other is useless . So even with 2 aggravation proc sloted , only one count on your character , the other is not readen

What if it's the same proc-effect, but with different names and proc-condition? E.g. Tanks Def-bonus-proc from the removed "paragon-seal-set" (can't remember the name atm ) and vanquisher-bonus. One is on being hit, while the other is on hit.

Thanks for clearing that up. I just tested it with the subjugator weapons... so it also applies to pure damage procs.
