If it has an x86 processor, you should be able to install and run (assuming enough space on the SSD), but it may be slow. Tablet convertibles usually have ultra-low-power parts and usually aren't built to dissipate the heat from sustained gaming. If the game makes your surface too hot it will throttle, becoming even slower.
Dell and other vendors sell refurbished gaming laptops that are pretty cheap; you might want to look into one of those to game on the go.

30 fps are low? You are talking of a win xp era tame dam xD
30 fps are not only fine but if you can lock it to have stable 30 fps instaed range between for exemple 30-60 game will lag less in stress sich.

Re: RoR+Microsoft Surface
Just be careful with "gaming" laptops; many aren't given the cooling to keep their parts cool under load (especially the thin ones). So you'll pay for $$$ of performance and get $ after 20 minutes when it heats up and throttles.ocrtmpone wrote: Fri Mar 08, 2019 1:02 amHappyHubris wrote: Thu Mar 07, 2019 1:25 pm If it has an x86 processor, you should be able to install and run (assuming enough space on the SSD), but it may be slow.
