My recommendation about 8 years ago was for the Keg to be a morale pump, not a healer bucket. Never had booze make me feel better, but damn does it give you some courage.

Its a leftover from Mythic's design of the class to give them some flavor (all puns intended here). Something that hasn't been decided to be changed. There are no such things as mirrors. You could simply ask why does the magus deal elemental damage and engis deal corporeal? Why do magi not get mounts, only other disks? Engis get copters for Sigmar's saké.

You should focus your questions or comments related more to what you are specifically aiming for with this thread. Unless it was pure curiosity, which is what I have answered.

I think what's being missed here is that Magus DO get a heal. One comes as a wounds buff while the other comes are a HoT. The OP doesn't seem to be aware of that.

They have as said above but the CD is off it should be 40 sec to be worth as the keg.

Which one is the HoT? I've been noticing lately Magi have some crazy over-time healing in 1v1 without using HoT potion
