After seeing those posts by Hogun, makes sense why Yali thinks 2h thanks are too powerful, it seems like everything i knew about i the Age of Enlighment and France was a lie, they dont know about math or at least how it works.

I'm not sure I understood what you meant, but I put as many RR points for both solutions, 20 points.
They of course intend that the max stacking potential.is higher on s+b of course aka 40 pt in s+b vs 20 pt in2h no one care for you even investiment, it's stacking potential.that matter.

You must be the ONLY tank in the entire game who gets LESS defence when going SnB, that is you being bad and not something wrong with the mechanics.

I understand we can always increase the number of RRs spent and equipment, but clearly the 2H he will put them or these 20 extra points? and you really think that with 40% blocking we will look for 18% more parry?

I am not sure this is time for a "YOU TOO" Hogun but, i am just not surprised that is your only answer to it tbh.

You are the one who said 2h has more defenses, now that you been proven as wrong as one can be, you start talking about how they wont put points in defenses so they have less?

What?

A SnB tank will always be tougher than a 2h tank, period, no buts or ifs around it, they can invest more points in avoidance and even if they couldnt, they have more mitigation by themselves, thanks to natural block and the stats a shield gives.

So, really, if this is the hill you want to die on, be our guest but you are just wrong and you should just accept it.

I said that the 2Hs had easy access to a very high parry rate and I said that the parade provided a very high protection rate against guard damage and that it was not logical, that's what I said!
the calculation below is to answer to someone who doesn't know how to calculate.

you have to read the whole post to answer thank you, so we're not talking about damage in general but about guard damage!

but after all I don't care I like the latest patch ME:)

Perhaps have another stat column available in the SC stats window which shows how much or little guard dmg a tank has mitigated for his teammates during an SC

This will provide a lot of useful information as well as expose 90% of the Destro 2H tanks that have removed Guard from their hotbars

I think that specing defensive has become too trivial in general. So unless you are taking ridiculous amounts of damage like in a zerg fight, there really isnt any great appeal to gaining the extra survivability from a shield in a non zerg environment.

Change guard so the only way you can defend the damage is through block. 2 handed tanks can still guard as well, but there survivability should start to tell.
