Game doesn't launch from launcher

As of today, I can't join the game at all. I open the launcher, press 'Connect', but nothing loads up. My brother has the same issue. Any light shined on this would be greatly appreciated!

maybe your firewall/antivir had an update today and falsely detected a virus again or so?
