Just picked this screenshot up playing on pug scenario again. Shammy Kilat is obviously not stacking as much armor as Smorg did and he didnt have me detaunted with either his detaunt skills... with that damage rate i can kill him in like 30-40 skills... GG

You guys can guess out of the blue moon, or ask.

Btw Ethilia, it feels like you mostly play in warband, as I don't see you roaming a lot and probably only on sc, because new weapons to farm. Excuse me but I don't consider you a threat by any means. There are other range SW, who do it better.

This is not a Armor Penetration-problem, WS reduce armor, not toughness. The only way to bypass toughness is to reduce it via debuff. I can bet my car that he is stacking toughness for the same reason
Well to be honest i do similar amounts of damage to almost any class that has armor stacked... Its so easy to stack armor and dodge on this server. Dodge just stacks from Initative (which all gear seems to have) and a very cheap RR training that also gives you disrupt... I m just so bored to take Screenshots about everything. Some scenarios before that I was tring to dps WEs, Maras and the mitigation levels were similar (even on some sorcs)... at the Reikland Factory current pug scenario where the buffs are rare and players usually play with their basic gear..... Add that to the immense dodge rate EVERYONE has.... GG

I dont even think its a matter of arguments anymore... The people in charge of balance really got a thing for SWs and perhaps SHs.... Maybe they got their @#$s kicked 2 many times from skilled SWs or SHs in the live server... I dont know what to say anymore.... 84RR SW with endgame gear hits like a fly....
I main Choppa and from gear don't get much ini, like +11. So no, not all the gear give ini. In addition your "very cheap RR training" cost 20 renown point to be effective so, again: no, not everyone have "immense dodge rate".
If you are really so underperforming you should think to change class

You have some options to cut thru dodge rate. Stacking gear with +x% reduced chance to be dodged, using discerning offence tactic -10% chance for enemy to avoid your attacks(using this with my SnB SM) or pierce defence -15% dodge, parry, block if they dodge, parry, block your attack for 10s which is just great and with approx -5% reduced chance to be dodged from gear, you could easily reach -20% dodge chance which should negate enemy dodge rate nearly completely if its not tank spamming HTL.

Against high armored targets you relly on Your realm mates(WL, IB,any tank morale 1) which can lower armor for 1k+. If light/robe armored targets reach 3k armor with pot, after armor debuff, they sit on 2k armor and with 700ws they sit on something like 1k armor. I wouldnt bother to attack monstro marauders or destro tanks who have 4-5k armor.

To be honest, I wanted to try RDPS and couldnt decide between SW and BW. Rolled both and must admit, that BW is far supperior for ST and AOE. You dont need to dance between stances, Your ST dots are 100ft range, AOE ones at 80ft without need to spend tactic for range, you can debuff corp rezist and the main thing is you ignore armor completely.

Do better what? Their tooltip damage and armor penetration is higher? This post is about maths, not about gamesense or skill. haha ok wont respond to troll posts anymore... Your class is imbalanced and the only class that can actually get close to killing it is an asawell imbalanced tonsofarmor-penetrating and huge mobility-having WL.

Well tbh I love SW from every aspect, lore, design, playstyle since the live server. Its the only reason I spend my precious time playing this game on a private server... I tried to reroll but got bored of everything else. I ve been playing elven scout on DnD half my life. Its a matter of preference.

I use full renown toughness, because otherwise the base toughness in vanq is like 150. With buff I am slightly above 500 tou.
I use 6x armor talismans. As I am no pimp with thousands of gold, I can only afford 124 ones, which results in almost 2800 armor or 63% mitigation. :)

Man, surely this game rely a lot on stat and math, but it also require some skill: reflexes, time sense, rotation composition, target choice, positioning and else. This skill change from player to player and they are the balance needle between good player and bad player. Go out of you comfort! if you play wb go play 6man or vice versa! Try to change class for a bit to see what are your enemy's weapon and so on. You game life will change in better.
