Would probably be great to add renown points also for lvls after 80 like in Daoc, small character progression instead of introducing power gap from new gear tiers and balance sh--storms.

You'd be a fool if you thought that RRp after 80 wouldn't create balance shitstorms.

Since renown abilities are mostly passive on RoR (=/= daoc) + that it takes ages to lvl up after 80, there are way less chances to get balance issues than with stuff introduction.

Just create armour with random stats on them like Blorcs with heavy armour but buffs to willpower and Heal critical. Chosen with rdps crap on it.
They won't be any good but you'd get the cosmetics from having the armour, etc and you could also play as a Blorc healer, ironbreaker hammer thrower, goblin tanks, etc for teh lolz.

Here is my thought about this thread.
If I remember correctly, in live we had Rank 40 and Renown 100 which was game-breaking and the imbalance was real.
Here in RoR we have now Rank 40 and Renown 80 (for max renown points) and above (with the renown rank implementation)
I suggest rewarding those which have Renown 80 or above with mounts, pets, and unique appearances. Warhammer universe can provide that. Just look in Altdorf/IC how many pets and mounts are there, unused.
It would be nice to see in battlefield players with unique stuff. Like that you will know that player is above 80 and you will try to hunt him down. And also giving this you will motivate people level up faster, attend events and increase the playerbase.

From what i understand, the reason we do not have warlord and sovereign yet is simply because the intended sources are not yet implemented. Them being the city sieges. Same goes for tyrant and land of the dead although rumor has it lotd will release in 2 weeks.

And tbh any reward would be better than none.
I understand why they dont have sovereign etc since it would break the t2-t4 for lowbies, because of low pop they cant put t4 as intended for 36(?)-40
But since it's current unrewarded it feels.. Dull to level

The reason RR100 cap on live made it so imbalanced was that it also gave hidden levels at RR84, 88, 92, 96 & 100. So you were really a 45/100, not a 40/100. Also the RR90 & RR100 gear was completely overpowered.TiberiusD wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 7:38 am Here is my thought about this thread.

If RRs over 80 _only_ gave an additional renown point to spend on a tiny stat increase it wouldn't be such a huge deal tbh. But I'm completely okay with just leaving it like it is now as well.
