Re: RvR influence rewards T2-T4 for healers
sy but it wasn't presumption, you talked about heal + focused mind, that's all. Then if you add other issue like 5sec CD that's another thing.noisestorm wrote:Tesq.. please for the love of God/Allah/Flying Spaghetti Monster don't try to explain me how Healing works - srsly just dont
and No no and another no. If you got 5 seconds cooldown on your groupheal you will exactly have ZERO advantage from focused mind. And i already now have a Book with 8 Fury regen. You seem to not understand that i was talking about the direct regen from The rr90/100 Set. And in my upper post i was talking about AP regen as procc instead of some useless crap. And 8 Fury regen is not enough (so you still need to Supplicate/Blood Offer) to be constantly healing like every other class later can when they get the crit tactics. But thats all another topic.
As a base heal+ focused mind, spamming aoe heal i found hard outheal dok/wp, considering 0,5 sec cast , + absorb from crit + crit value from heal itself+ better chance to crit due to better spam. Also dont get your point talk about dok heal group coldown.... if cast time is 0,5 i can simple clease in between.....you know group cleanse.....
Btw i dont even know who you are.... sy if it appear like an attack
Personaly i fell no need for better influence rewards for healers that's all. Unless we could improve armors itiems for every classes, i remember most of armors were outdated after t1-t3 set change

Re: RvR influence rewards T2-T4 for healers
What i was pointing out is that a DoK/WP does not have such an advantage form FocusedMind like a Cloth healers have. Simply for the Reason that the casttime gets waaaayy lower than the GCD and additionally has a cooldown as well, while an AM for example can spam his heals every second. Also Clothwearer Groupheals have a higher basevalue than WP/DoK ones.So the M2 for DoKs is just good for the CC-Protection most of the time. And i dont even know why you would begin with cleanse now or whatsoever, when you first talked about 'Outhealing' . (Groupcleanse btw needs at least lvl 27, which will be a long time away anyways). The only Problem for all healers while using m2 will be their AP/Fury though. Without tactics or proccs you wont be casting more than 3-6 Spell (depending on if you really have 100% Ressource when u throw m2) anyways - Instead of 9 or even 10 possible ones..
Something different: Am i being retarded or did they change the Groupheal of WP/DoK 3 times?
I remember it having no CD in old times, but 'longer' casttime (like 1.5 sec ~.~), but i also think there was a time where it had a 5 sec CD. Now in the warbuilder i see it has 'just' a 1.5 sec CD ? Mhmm... Anyways

Re: RvR influence rewards T2-T4 for healers
being able to clease , mean less heal, i tend to consider cleanse just like be able to healing, btw ye dok/wp healing were changed sometimes. (about cc protection dok can use the lash attack in mid of zerg and recharge mecc points this make his spam last long then any am/SH with ap regen, then also dok/wp have a better chance to crit than other healer cos they base their meccanic on that so we tend to have more crit chance and fast heal + crit chanc = better heal)noisestorm wrote:What i was pointing out is that a DoK/WP does not have such an advantage form FocusedMind like a Cloth healers have. Last time they change something they nerf the aoe value but give them that fast heal with 0.5 cast that consume ap instead of meccanics points.
Btw yea it's actually a 0.5 sec cos the cast time is 1 sec so you can actually spamm it, that 0,5 was add to be like a general global coldown i assume seems being 1 sec cast wuold make that bypass it.

I don't really care, add sc weapons and we are fine.
Dying is no option.

Loaded poll. Leading question. There is only one non-troll answer to the question as it stands. Don't get me wrong, i'm all for everyone getting something useful, but it's important to evaluate how much development time this will take and if anything else would be sacrificed in time taken making the change (since it might be any level of difficulty to implement).
i can't imagine it would take much work, but just as a general point, polls like this are really silly. All they will show is the biased preference of the poster of the poll.

Actually those vanilla procs are just fine (and I say it as a healer).
There is imho no need for healing buff proc since it favor melee oriented healers and ranged healers will find the new procs almost equally useless as the old ones.
I don't think the system is overly well balanced, but such a proc wouldn't balance the scales any better

Yes if these exact weapons was in original game . Like what drops from pve or public quests as example.Luth wrote: I would suggest that healers get the option to choose at least one "healing weapon", that has a 5% percent chance to proc "on healing" or "on skill usage". This weapon should have also healing stats on it ofc.
The procs could be a low HoT effect, a low "damage bubble" or just a variant of:

No, only one "troll answer".Rathael87 wrote:Loaded poll. Leading question. There is only one non-troll answer to the question as it stands.
I evaluated the development time, as i asked a dev on this already (guildmate).Rathael87 wrote:but it's important to evaluate how much development time this will take and if anything else would be sacrificed in time taken making the change (since it might be any level of difficulty to implement).
According to http://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/ ... oll#p46730Rathael87 wrote: i can't imagine it would take much work, but just as a general point, polls like this are really silly. All they will show is the biased preference of the poster of the poll.
A loaded question or complex question fallacy is a question which contains a controversial or unjustified assumption.
The question is not loaded, because it is indeed not controversial or unjustified. It is based on facts, known to people that followed the links and/or played the game on the mythic servers.
If you would have actually read the original post, you would have noticed that all weapons for healers have effects that proc on doing damage:
The purpose of this thread was/is it, to alter one of the two weapons healers can choice from RvR influence rewards, so that it gets a proc "on healing" instead of "on damage". This is also clearly stated in the first topic. I also recomended, to take existing buffprocs from other weapons (e.g. shieldproc) for minimal development time.Luth wrote: pure healers get only weapons that proc debuffs on hitting enemy targets.
If you would follow this forum longer, you would probably know that i'm pretty aware that there is unimportant stuff that takes a long time to fix it.
But with T2 influence rewards knocking on the door, there should be a decision before they are introduced (and before people have the chance to take the rewards and complain later...).
No offense, but at this point i don't even know if you
1. even read/understood the original post and the actual "problem"
2. ever played the game/can remember the RvR influence reward weapons
3. 1. + 2. + tried to impress someone with "superiour" intellectual skills
Btw, i'm not biased as i'm playing mostly melee classes and rarely healers.
This topic is just about a very unlogic design decision of the original game.
