Port Forwarding
Anyone have the information to allow me to port forward. My issue is apparently my router is blocking the program as a "malicious" program regardless of what I tell it to do. Apparently, the only way around this is to forward the ports.

I need to tell the router to let me pass the firewall directly to the game.
Re: Port Forwarding
Most home grade router "firewalls" only block inbound communication. Port forwarding is used in this case to expose your client via specific port(s) to the internet via NAT. This is normally used when you want to serve data from your network to unspecific/unknown clients in the internet.
In the case of RoR you communicate only with the server. This communication is known and initiated by the launcher, so i don't recommend to make your network vulnerable for no reason.
The only situation i could imagine this would be required is, when the server is bored and you are offline, so he wants to send you a message: "Hey buddy, i'm bored wanna play on me?"
In case you want to try it:
The launcher seems to communicate over port 80 and 8000. WAR ports are 8048 and 10622.
