Still choppa, mara and WL are much funnier and more damage effective than a mSW.
The SW class is really dead. People just make them for the looks and the feeling but in the battlefield they are a joke.

Some SW perform really well and those are not only aSW, so some might be better on them than others.

All jokes aside Sw does have some great utility. Ranged SW is nowhere near a class that can be a main dd. You're pretty screwed if you run solo. ASW is a lot of fun but Scout is just rather pointless at the moment, yeah you can kill but it's not the same.

SW excel as free RR for dest that's all. Their dmg is physical so have fun hitting 150-200 per hit against tank.

There's a reason BW/Eng are better because their dmg are magical, a weak dot from engineer would do more dmg than rSW's ping.

ASW is about the only good spec and that's because you do dmg and have no utility whatsoever

You really tell ppl to play scout sw? The tree that sucks even more than skirm and requires you to stand still from time to time without having even 75% of the dmg output of a engi or bw? Yeah, sure mate. Thanks for sharing your input. Youre pretty much throwing the half decent mobility out of the window, which is the only thing you got going for you if you play rsw. Ranged squigger and sw need something to deal with high armor values. Until then they will never be able to apply as much pressure as the mdps or warband builds for engi or bw. And this will get worse and worse the higher the armor values get with better gear.

Was a top tier class about 1,5 years ago.
Then a bunch of blanket nerfs related to orvr and moral hating hit it. And then 6man groups kinda hijacked the influence over the assault rework. And this is what you got.

fester don't need armor piercing.
if u can't cast 2sec skill as range, that's ur problem.
don't play like skirmisher as scout,
forget about heal debuff.
Range fight with glass, don't spam fester.
It requires unique play style and practice.
not everybody can be sniper with bow.

As Decimo said, only ASW is viable so it fills Melee spot but only in Small Scale, unless someone decide to make jumping Elves WB, which could be useful in funnel situations .

Any range specs are pepega specs, all Scout DMG is trash for time u need to spent for casting and no big tools, they said they bringed back FA penetration but its not the same FA penetration that was pre nerfs.
Scout would be cool in 6 SW party that coordinate FA bomb together but then Engis does it a lot better...

Skirmish is fun for leeching from big fights with LA or SplitArrows and if you would want to be useful u would use PiercingDefense tactic but still u solo so whats the point... DMG is also pepega but at least u can move around and keep distance from danger.
Overall atm Skirmish is for solo roaming and leeching, u cant kill much stuff solo vs anything tbh, unless its a lowbie 40 w/o gear and u r high rr but thats totally different story...

Tell me more after 10 years of sw practice. If you play scout youre a noob i cant put it different, sry but you have no idea what youre talking about.
