Try disabling windows firewall and/or antivir just to test if it works. seems like a few people get the launcher(or files on it) blocked/deleted.
Or try putting all files on a sort of whitelist for your Firewall/Antivir

Keep getting the same error. Even when whitelisted and when the firewall is off.

Re: Launcher Problems - show your Log here
Hm.. you said it keeps getting reverted to Read-Only. Is that still the case? If you're not a full net-admin windows sometimes doesnt let you edit some files at all.
2 things to test:
Try disabling the User Access Control in the windows security somewhere.
Or use cmd ->" net user administrator /active:yes " without the "" and try disabling the write protection through the admin account.
Maybe you can also check the folders properties or better say the rigts to the folder. Rightclick -> Properties -> Security -> Then check the list down there for your currently logged in User and see if he has complete access to all file writings

Re: Launcher Problems - show your Log here
And Elven, or Dascoub (if hes the right one?).If we find a solution for Bennys Error maybe you could add it to Azas post. Additionally you should rewrite the _whole_ Tutorial for the Download button here and let them have to check the Posts from Aza before they even can download the Game files or maybe like posted below? Dont give them multiple Steps on one page, but one step per one page, so they really carefully read the stuff to do.
So the process looks something like:
1 * = 1 Page
* Download button pressed (Maybe rename it into "How to Play" ?) -> Some welcome text or whatever
* RoR Launcher
* Torrent/Mega Links
* http://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/ ... f=4&t=2889
* Account creation page (yes as last one)
Just a thought here. Maybe some of the retarded re-posts can be avoided this way

Re: Launcher Problems - show your Log here
Did you read the sticky that says "READ BEFORE POSTING" in big letters?
Because if I know my Spanish, it feels like you didn't read the sticky.

Re: Launcher Problems - show your Log here
If the client doesn't load properly, it might have incomplete/corrupt files. Extracting the game usually fixes it.
