For the perfect appearance, people do quite a lot.
Who knows, some pve set might be really good for their class.

i saw many slayer with a big 2h hammer now. but they not do good dmg. u may try bloodlord weapon, my bloodlord sword is the best looking among the all. I think other class the same. also the bloodlord cape is the best looking

When scenario weapons were released on live - for some retarded reason mythic decided to lock slayer choices for those into dw hammers and lock IB into 2h hammers.

Their method for flagging weapons was based on race and skill more than class (although sometimes it wasn't), so lots of things that seem like it doesn't fit on each class wasn't actually designed for that class, they just happen to have the requisite skill to use it.
