sl/chop have to give up medium armor to do any dps, wh/we has no medium armor, wl has medium armor but no lifetap (DC) or GoM for emergency mode (you only need to use GoM under extreme circumstances btw, not perma Monstro as some seem to think)

Detaunt + guard + medium armror + Monstro stance switch panice button which stops enemy armor penetration

so yes even with sav brut spec mara is still the tankiest mdps

I dont know that mara have guard . Slayer/choppa have detaut, we/wh too. And if U have guard from tank and U need to switch to monstro then somthing is wrong.

you are really dense... mara detaunt is really good, sl/chop can't stay in medium armor for dps, we/wh has no medium armor at all, you only swap to monstrousity in EMERGENCIES as good heals, good tanks, deadly clutch + pots are usually more than enough, as well as defensive morales.

Lol do you test your Mara / Mara vs double Slayer ??? You think you will kill them if you swap all the time in monstro for survive ???

again, i don't expect you, an incredibly mediocre player on the whole, to be able to win on marauder. you shouldnt be swapping to monstrousity all of the time to survive, and the fact that you are shows me that your tanks are either dying too quickly , or your healers' output is rather low (your heals are good, so its probably the first). double mara should trump double sl, and those who can't pull it off simply aren't using the class to its fullest - fact. the same was true on live, the same is still true here.

wtf is up with people think mara has no burst, isnt the tankiest MDPS, has 'less str and parry' than slayer (LOL)... absolutely mindboggling. who is playing this game nowadays? guess the skill level is really low now, but there never were many ppl who were playing marauder at a high level anyway

specific order comps (wl/asw) result in specific destro comps to counter them. nothing wrong with that; mara/mara will always be the best comp to use vs slayer/slayer, for example.

Deadly clutch require a tactic slot, wh rb and the new 2s stealth, chopper m1 absorb, slayer that stack huge ws/parry and dumb rage, wl simply just poune the furthest target to gtfo..... 1.5k armor is not that much and there 5s cd to stance.....

There is the tournament 6 vs 6 Bitterbowl actualy, normaly its the perfect place for mara !

Because of the deadly clutch maras can't get brute force tactic and can't reach soft cap str. (dc, fof, gi, pb)

it adds up, and used with medium armor, good heals, good guard, and GoM, it makes marauder head and shoulder above other MDPS for survival.
