Client download issues and troubleshooting

I got something similar to this, and What Elven has pointed out several times worked for me.
Right click the game folder > Properties > Uncheck "Read only" > OK. Run launcher as administrator.

It keeps blinking nothing I follow the steps and still, blinks and bye bye nothing. Dont know what to do, I download this from the torrent, the mega and zip, Im lost.

I got the same problem, im getting mad. Cause everytime I try to uncheck the "readonly" and then click accept/OK/Apply it apply those changes, but when I click properties again it still says "Read only". I have followed lots of tutorials on youtube to get rid of this problem but non has worked, Tried Diskpart from CMD in windows 7, Tried the CMD in windows and I have tried several other methods. But the funny thing is, I was able to get online yesterday after some tries.

My launcher works perfectly, my problem starts when im in the game and you see the "Camping tent" and the music starts "Baa daaa da dada da daaaaad dadaaa" you know ;P and there should be some text in the black window on the right side ei "searching for server" "Connecting to server" etc but its just blank. And after about 15seconds it crashes with a "BOOONG" error message saying "Autherisation failed - terminating application"

I want to play badly but im tiring of trying to solve the problem now after about 3 hours of searching.

i get a pop up window after typing my credentials that says "an error occured..., system.unauthorizedAccessException


i did all the other steps correctly i put the RoRLauncher in the WAR folder next to WAR.exe.


Edit: got it working. i looked back at a few posts back and what yuni did worked

I'm not sure if I did something wrong or what, but I can't seem to login. I think it might involve the patching but I can't get that to work for me either. Well, either way this is what it says when I try to connect;

Is your launcher in the same folder like the WAR.exe and not in a special folder?

Run launcher as Administrator, make sure the FOLDER (not the launcher!!!) isn't set to "read only".

This can be done by right clicking the game folder > properties > uncheck "Read Only" > OK.

Worked for me, Make sure whole folder is "unchecked read only" and make sure the launcher program is run as administrator

Hello, i'm trying to solve log problems, but untill now i couldn't play. i already used the JeFawk file described in his topic (http://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/ ... ?f=4&t=441) , but it changed anything. My folders are (only read unchecked ) and i am runnig the files as Admin. Here is my log:
