New user, cannot launch game

Whenever i attempt to log in, the RoRLauncher generates this error code:

Running Win8.1, no AV software (disable windows defender real time protection as well). RoRlauncher running as admin, file directory is read-only. The RoR Launcher is in the file with WAR.exe as well. Any ideas?

You have to unprotect your game folder. ( right click on war folder, properties, remove the read only option).

That fixed it. Thought i read it needed to be read only for some reason, so didnt think to try that. Thank you much.
