Just a quick question from a newcomer if the factions are balanced?

Mainly because I don't mind playing either and I'd rather try balancing the scales if necesarry!

More or less balanced, the time and day you are playing is important and sometimes the bigger guilds play for 1-2 days Order even if they are mainly destro.

Populations are balance but when organized guil warband are online they tend to provide reasons for the side they are facing to log off once they get splattered a few times. So as said above the online pop varies to match the guild warband online

I believe so.

Yes, you can play both sides. Just know that once you play one side you are locked to that side for the next 90 minutes. After that you can log off and switch.

Also its tied to you IP address, so making a 2nd account won't help you get around it.
