Nordland RVR freezes

I've experienced a bit of an oddity with Nordland RVR today.

I'm having 30 second or greater freeze frames when doing orvr in Nordland only. Even with some of the higher tier zones having similar population numbers.
No issues in the other T1 rvr lakes, no issues in the other T2+ rvr areas Ive been to.
I'm running a pretty high end PC on a good connection.

Ive gone through the sticky on reducing lag and crashes, but had no luck.
My friends say they're having no lag, and if I exit the rvr area, everything runs fine.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Edit: another weird thing - when the zone locked, the freezes stopped. When it reopened, the freezes restarted. Interesting to say the least.

Have your turned off all your addons and running in fastest framerate?

Yeah, tried that. Rebooted router, computer, and the whole bag.
It acts like random packet loss, but the peculiarity of only one area of one zone, and only when its not locked has me curious. Frustrated too, but curious.

Is your graphics card up to date drivers? Display Drivers? Unless you went in and randomly deleted files yourself (not saying you did lol) its hard to think packets would disappear. But that being said, I would also check your file wall settings

It stopped.
While I'm glad it did, my curiosity wanted to know the why part.
