But to be honest I've known about RoR for a while, LP just reminded me of it at the most perfect time

Played launch YEARS ago and TWO things I PRAY this free server can do. 1 is already apparently better and that's performance issues. Back in the day the game was a scroll fest.

But most importantly, something the original game never did but if they could implement here it would be AMAZING would be a third faction. Without that third faction, we'll eventually end up with an imbalance which will make me a sad Panda.

No reason to worry about faction imbalance, you can create characters on both realms here. There is a 90 minute lockout timer, but it starts from the second you log in, so flipping over to help the underdogs side isn't too much of a problem.
