OMG..

This is like a dream come true.

After the last few years of having a hard time getting into a MMORPG I would always think about the times when I played AOR. Now I just happened to find out about this all of this about 20 min ago. I was just disappointed to hear that New World is being delayed until August and I wanted some openworld type game I could play by myself when my friends aren't online. Yes I know there's WoW but it's just too cartoony and too catered for kids for me. AOR had just the right amount of darkness and grittiness.

And so, I did a google search looking for a MMORPG that had an auction house. I loved being able to farm for stuff and then selling it on a fluctuating market as opposed to just selling it to a NPC. And came up was a list of games and wouldn't you know it, WH:AOR came up but it was an old list. THe nostalgia came over me. I said to myself what the heck lets go down memory lane and look up WH:AOR on google and see what comes up. First thing that popped up was a video by TheLazyPeon. That's odd.. like.. the video said it was published just a couple of months ago. I figured it was a date glitch and that it was some video from 10 years ago. Nope.. It was crazy.. This was recent. AOR had returned!! I was watching him go through areas that I remember going through over a decade ago. It was awesome and to see it pretty well populated was exciting.

Are there guilds and clans here? Back in the day I would roll either Tank or Melee DPS but over the years I have found that I like Range DPS. Chaos for life!! Hell, I even remember having one of those demo accounts where you only get to rank 10 and I would twink out a couple of chars. Sorry for being everywhere but I'm thoroughly excited as I'm downloading the client as I type. And more importantly, is there an auction house? I don't even remember what it was actually called. Anyways, I'm happy about all of this! See you in the Realm.

The realm is extremely popular, more so than ever currently. There's a tonne of guilds on both Destruction and Order, and the RvR is always super populated.

Typically the EU Prime Time we tend to hit 1000~ players in one RvR zone and it drops to around 300~ in off-peak hours.

Familiarise yourself with all the sub sections and pick up where you left off. You'll find your footing fast if you've played live.
