Launcher issue, update error (File signature bad)

Hi,
Today the launcher gave me an error for some reason, and refused to start the game. I didn't screw around with the game files or do anything out of the ordinary.

So when i start the launcher (Administrator mode), there are a bunch of loading bars, in this order :
Downloading manifest,
Verifying data 1/2 and 2/2,
Verifying interface 1/2 and 2/2,
the next download bar stops at 2/11 and gives me the following error :
File signature bad: data/strings/english/abilitynames.text

I went through some posts on these forums to try to find a solution, but nothing really helped. Also, i redownloaded the launcher.exe directly from https://launcher.returnofreckoning.com/RoRLauncher.exe, but again it didn't solve the issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

This totally worked for me. Thanks.
I downloaded the file https://wetransfer.com/downloads/93797a ... 328/a225dd, i replaced the other one in the main game folder with it, and the launcher started the game with no problem at all.

You guys must have made a fix to this; my game is working now. Very impressive response time! Thanks for your hard work devs.

edit: I should clarify that the server doesn't seem to be up (I'm sure more updates are inc.) but I am able to launch to character select now.
