Ever since the last patch, I've been having several CTD's per day. Now before this last patch, I could count the CTD's from the past 4 months on 1 hand.
I mean, obviously something has happened here. I'm not an expert, I'm just able to recognize the spike in CTD's.
Windows 10 1909
9900k + 1080Ti
441.20 NVIDIA drivers
I don't know what other information to include that could help.

Re: Spike in CTD's Recently
Every time someone tells another Player to check for 64bit, when the talk is about crashes,
my neck hair is standing up.
There is something wrong since the last 2 patches. Yesterday swiped the whole game direction and reinstalled the Game.
Even without any Addon, the game keeps crashing on random times.
In open RvR, using a Cast- Crash to Desktop without Error
In SC, using a Cast- Crash to Desktop without Error
In Ad, harvesting a Plant- Crash to Desktop without Error
In Mount Gunbad, releasing after death- Crash to Desktop without Error
Something is broken for some people. We do not know what, because we get no crash error.
And we are long enough here to know the 64 bit thing.
The ''have you checked if 64 bit is on'' call is just the tipical ''have you tried to turn it off and on again'' joke.

Re: Spike in CTD's Recently
Surprisingly enough, making sure 64 bit is enabled fixes a lot of the crashes. Personally, I hardly ever crash, no matter what I am doing in-game. The guildies I play with, hardly ever crash, no matter what they're doing in-game.Gunlinger wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2020 5:53 pm Every time someone tells another Player to check for 64bit, when the talk is about crashes,

If there was a huge issue with crashing and server instability, it would be effecting everyone simultaneously, but it looks to be effecting a minority of players. Which leads me to believe there's a fault with game files and/or settings. Such as the 32/64 bit setting.
If you have more information to provide in regards to these crashes, and/or have any methods to replicate these, it would help the team investigate further. However a lot of the reports are 'help it's crashing' which doesn't give us any information to go off.
Therefore, the basic troubleshooting, such as 'are you using 64 bit' is the best way to identify any potential problems from a users level, rather than server / client side.
Re: Spike in CTD's Recently
Not CTD but me and a few others have had an insane uptick in getting kicked to char select. Happened to me 10times in city yesterday, net is fine, client 64bit. It started since two patches ago, it doesn't seem to be tied to a singular thing so I cant replicate
Re: Spike in CTD's Recently
2 Patches ago some had the problem, that the game would not start. these players had to manualy injekt a file to the game directory to get the errormessage away and start the game. Some had to do it. some not. And most of them who had to, now have crashes more then ever before. even reinstalling does not change it.

Re: Spike in CTD's Recently
I had a huge spike in CTD after the patch. I updated windows, nvidia driver, replaced audio file again, and slightly upped the voltage of my CPU. That seemed to resolved the issue.
